Early life, Education, and Career
Bhuvan was born on 22 January 1994 in Baroda, Gujarat, India. As of 2021, he is 27 years old now. He was brought up and raised in a well-to-do Marathi family. Later, they shifted to New Delhi. He started and completed his primary education and secondary education from GREEN FIELDS SCHOOL, DELHI. After class 12 his mother wanted him to pursue a B.Com degree, but he opted to pursue B.A because of low marks in that particular subject in History honors. He completed his graduation from SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH COLLEGE. After he had qualified for his class 12 Board Exam, he developed a little interest in music and he decided to be a musician in the future. But his parents didn’t approve of his decision of becoming a musician. They always wanted him to focus on his studies. However, he managed to learn classical singing during his college days. He also learned to play instruments. At that time, he often had been working as a singer at a local restaurant in Delhi for which he was paid ₹5000 a month. One day in 2014 he uploaded a video on the Internet which became an instant hit in Pakistan and after that, he was fully motivated to create a youtube channel of his own. He created his youtube channel named” BB KI VINES” on 20 June 2015, Where he uploaded many comedy videos. His first video on youtube was”THE CHAKHNA ISSUE” and it could gain only 10-15 views which were later got deleted from his channel. Afterward, he uploaded many more videos and he received better responses from the audiences. Then after a long journey of 3 years on youtube in 2018, he achieved the milestone of 10 million subscribers and became the first individual youtube personality to achieve 10 million subscribers in India. In 2018, he appeared in the short film”PLUS MINUS” for which he received the Filmfare award under the category of best short film. He was nominated for “THE MOST POPULAR CHANNEL WEBTV ASIA AWARD” for his youtube channel “BB KI VINES” in 2016. He was also felicitated by”HINDUSTAN TIMES” at their first Edition of GAME CHANGER AWARDS in 2017. Also in 2020, he became the brand ambassador of the e-commerce site”MYNTRA”. He has composed and released many songs.
